History
Several years ago, a dozen physicians were brought together to discuss how to improve the inefficient paperwork and communication processes for Vanderbilt Medical Center (VMC), one of the country’s leading research and teaching hospitals with nearly 120 affiliated clinics and physicians’ practices. The goal was to find a system to organize and integrate all of the hospital’s patient records and ultimately improve the delivery of patient care.
