CareAlign™
How does ICA’s product function?
ICA’s CareAlign™ is comprised of three layers of functionality.
- Integration and interoperability functionality enables HIEs to aggregate clinical data into a longitudinal patient record to provide physicians with the information to make cognitive medical decisions at the individual patient level.
- Workflow functionality enables physicians to communicate securely through a HIPAA compliant messaging facility, and provides forms and notes capabilities for data capture to complete gaps in existing systems.
- Disease and population functionality to visually display pertinent indicators of health via a dashboard for the care teams evaluation and treatment decisions. This functionality includes population based reporting to evaluate treatment protocols and compliance within the community.

Does CareAlign™ have the capacity to interface to common EHRs?
Our CareAlign™ solution supports standards such as HL7 (2.2 thru 3.0), CDA, CCR and CCD as well as a number of nonstandard or custom formats.
What browser must be installed to use CareAlign™?
Compatible with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Version 7, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox, CareAlign™ can be accessed from desktop computers and mobile devices at anytime and from anywhere.
How long does implementation take?
A pilot program can be up and running within 6 to 8 months

How does ICA integrate inpatient environment with physician practices in a community when they all have different systems and no IT support?
ICA’s solution can aggregate information from all their existing clinical systems, make the system accessible through a web-based portal, and integrate data back into source systems.
How does ICA improve quality at the point of care?
Provide real-time patient status across care teams, workflows, and information systems to support decision making.
Does ICA provide testing resources?
The Client Manager and Implementation Specialist(s) would be on-site during client acceptance testing to assist with all test scenarios, explain unexpected results or assist with recording issues in our CRM, and develop test cases for unique workflows.
